Michael Ungár has over 9 years of strength and conditioning experience working for many collegiate sport teams from Harvard University, Springfield College, Boston College, Auburn University, Georgetown University, and having most recently worked with football and baseball at Louisiana State University. Michael is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, has the Strength and Conditioning Coaches Certification, is a USA Weightlifting Club Coach, and has studied under legendary Olympic weightlifting Coach Gayle Hatch.

Michael received his undergraduate degree in History and Sociology, from The University of Texas and received his Master’s of Education in Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning from Springfield College. As an undergraduate at The University of Texas, Michael walked-on to the football team and through his hard work and tenacity, earned a full scholarship. During his career, he was awarded UT’s Co-Special Team’s Player of the Year, Big XII Co-Special Teams Player of the Week, played in two Big XII Championships and in four bowl games. Michael uses all of his knowledge he has gained over the years as a coach and an athlete, and translates it over to his clients.

He designs and implements workouts that specializes in the clients individual and specific needs, monitoring each step to ensure positive progress is being achieved. If you are a competitive or recovering athlete, or even a weekend warrior, Michael will be able to help you become more explosive in your sport, gain overall strength, improve any imbalances or flexibility issues, lose weight to be able to move more easily, and/or increase your overall conditioning levels. Michael would also be a great coach to you if you want to become a better Olympic weightlifter, perfect your Olympic weightlifting form and/or improve your conditioning for your CrossFit workouts.
